In 1983, the 'Ever Ready' model with blue, orange and white decals, was released as the 7th livery to replace the now obsolete 'Chiver's'.

Livery: (Tampo)
Van sides: 'EVER READY' and 'REGD TRADE MARK' in blue on white.
- Orange panels with white surround above and below.
- 'BATTERIES FOR LIFE' in white.

Variations/Rarities: It was issued with a dark blue body, white roof and black fenders.
Of interest was the use of three differently coloured plastics to make the seat component.
The first issue models were released when the straw (I-type) box was still current and models with tan or black seats can be found in these boxes.
The second issue was released when the maroon (J-type) boxes were current.
The final issue in the J-type boxes are only seen with black seats.
Whitewall tyres were standard issue.
